This Week
First Week Practice
Date: August 2nd – 6th
Time: 6-8pm (players should arrive by 5:30 to check-in on the first day).
Please note that practices will start and end on time.
Location: Midgets will practice at the Davis High School practice fields
(behind the visitors stands at the football field).
Jr. Midgets, Pee Wee, and Jr. Pee Wee teams will practice at Emerson Jr. High School.
FIRST day of practice (Monday) - Helmets (and mouth piece) only, players dress in t-shirt, shorts, and cleats.
SECOND and THIRD day of practice (Tuesday and Wednesday) – Helmet, shoulder pads, shorts, and cleats.
FOURTH day of practice (Thursday) – full gear.
Players need to bring water bottles (labeled) to each practice.
Bathrooms will be available.
PAPEWORK
All players need to have all paperwork submitted prior to the first day of practice (forms can be mail to DJBD, PO Box 4164, Davis, CA 95617). We will also be accepting paperwork during the DHS football camp and on the first day of practice on August 2nd.
T-shirts, dry-fit Shirts For Sale
Davis Junior Blue Devil T-shirts and dry-fit shirts will be available for sale on July 27th at the DHS football camp (by the check-in table) and during the first week at practice at the Emerson practice field. Supplies are limited.

The Sacramento Youth Football League requires each team to prepare a “player card” for each participate in our football program. This card provides information to the league verifying that the player is eligible to play for the Davis Junior Blue Devils and it includes a picture of each participate. The following dates, times, and locations have been scheduled for our teams to be photographed.
August 4th at 5:30pm – Jr. Midgets (Emerson)
August 5th at 5:30pm – Midgets (DHS)
August 5th at 5:30pm – Pee Wees (Emerson)
August 6th at 5:30 – Jr. Pee Wees (Emerson)
Please note that we are currently working with our vendor to schedule a picture day (individual and team pictures) and we will publish this date ASAP.
