Attention all Midget and Jr. Midget players
(incoming 6th, 7th, and 8th graders):
Mini-Camp (Training Session)
The Davis High School Varsity Football program is hosting a mini summer camp for all Midget and Junior Midget players.* The camp will include coaches from both the Davis High School and Davis Junior Blue Devil Football staffs.
July 12-15 (Monday-Thursday) 3:45-4:15
July 19-22 (Monday-Thursday) 3:45 -4:15
The training sessions will be located at the DHS football field. Please note that due to construction, players will need to enter the field behind the visitor’s bleachers (if you park in the High School lot, you will need to walk around the Varsity baseball field). Dress in shorts and T-shirt.
This mini-camp is free and will give kids who have never played youth football before an opportunity to “try-it out” while at the same time provide returning players an opportunity to get ready for the start of the season.
*Please note that this mini-camp is open to all kids that will be entering the 6th, 7th, and 8th grades next year. We are encouraging registered players to invite any friends that they believe might have an interest in playing football to attend this mini-camp.ball.”

Maximum Athletic Development
Session I is from June 21st-June 24 from 2:00-3:30 pm (incoming 7th and 8th graders). Please note that incoming 6th graders who are currently enrolled to play football with the Jr. Blue Devils are now eligible to participate in this summer program. Please complete the registration form and bring a check ($25 per session or $100 for all five) made payable to “Davis Blue Devil Football.”

DHS Football Camp
DHS Football Camp will be held at the DHS Football field on July 27, 28, and 29 from 9-11 (walk-up registration starts at 8:30am). The cost to attend the three day camp is $30, however, kids already registered to play football with the Davis Junior Blue Devils can attend the camp for free.

Champions Advanced Performance Training/Conditioning
Here is your chance to get personal instruction in advanced athletic performance training from the highly qualified Davis Football Strength and Conditioning staff. Sessions will focus on:
Stretching • Agility • Weightlifting • Quickness
Plyometrics • Core strength • Speed • Conditioning
The program develops your strength, speed-agility-quickness (SAQ) and overall conditioning. The goal is to have linear, lateral, and vertical movement to be automatic, explosive, and precise. SAQ drills are performed with foot ladders, minihurdles, balance boards, medicine balls and other equipment.
